Any place can be shot up but Throckmorton co. produces some great deer. Especially the eastern part of the co. Lot of turkey, hogs, and predators as well.

I hunted 2 years in the northern part, towards Seymour. Lots of deer, with the chance of a good one. Oh yeah hogs too. But, like anywhere else "it depends". The area I hunted was big ranch country with @ 200 acres per hunter.

Hunted Throckmoton for 2 seasons as well, place we were on was pretty banged up but we managed a couple nice bucks off of it early in the season.

hunted 15 miles south of throckmorton for 5 years now and have had great hunting. Lots of deer, turkey and hogs and the deer ranged mature from 110-160, lots of 120-140 deer killed.

I don't live in Dallas...... Amen
