Had a blast this weekend with 3 in our party scoring on Eastern Gobblers in Texas. Here's one of them

That's a real trophy there. What county we all want to know? Lease or guided hunt?

It's on our lease that borders both Red River and Bowie counties. We're seeing more birds each year, so they are becoming more established. All of the Gobblers had no hens with them that we could tell. These were definitely the easiest birds I hunted all season, and I've been to West Texas, Western Oklahoma and Kansas so far.

Now that's a TRUE Eastern bird. Look how dark the tips of his fan are. Congratulations! Hope to hear of more successful Eastern turkey hunts in the future!
