This is going to be a good night to hunt (8/31). Anyone going?
I didn't learn this by seeing it on TV, I learned it by doing it.

I will be going out tonight and was out two nights ago, but I am fearing that up where I am, the hunting is going to slow down again, as it does each year, when the acorns fall and the acorns have started falling.
The acorns fall and the deer and hogs, even the coons, spend a lot more time in the woods and abandon the feeders except for occasional snacks.
Last year, we had picks of hogs coming in and not going to the feeder and I watched deer pass through the clearing several times without stopping to much corn. Two nights ago, I watched a group of 3 coons do the same thing.
I need to buy some bags of acorns!!!

Wish I could be out, but I'm stuck at work.
