I'm not. I got my new bow in and don't even have it set up yet.

i'll be in south padre opening day

but, i have a pretty open schedule that allows for me to hunt during the week.

I'm pumped, hope to get my first deer in october!

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I'm ready but my spot isn't. I am on a new lease and just last weekend finally found a tree big enough for my ladder stand. I didn't really want to use a pop up or buy a tripod.

Going down this weekend to setup it up and clear my lanes. I have a camera setup at 25yrds so I can't wait to see what is hitting the protein block and corn I threw out.

I haven't taken my bow out of the case since November but I'm sure everything is still good.

Not even close. To many Boy Scout activities and Eagle projects going on to worry about it too much. Plus it hurts like hell to draw my bow.

I will be when I need to be though.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

Shooting wise I am. Unfortunately I'm worried my lease may be a bust, three weeks and tons of feed later and not a deer or pig even on cam...

Just another day for me only difference I can now shoot the deer I've been watching all summer. I feed year round and pig hunt at least once a month when it's not deer season. Lots of turkeys this year I've been watching, good numbers of doe but haven't seen a buck I would shoot yet. That's ok I'll just shoot doe, pigs, and turkeys makes me no difference.

Have five tree stands set up and only need to move one. Got a new recurve I need to tune and start shooting. I'll only get to hunt the last 8 days of bow season because of work, but I'll be ready.

I'm not...feeders are empty, one feeder is broken, grund blinds need brush on them, need to move a feeder, and I can't get out there to do it all...also one blind needs windows and a new door. Lots to do and not enough time.
