Im bloody glad we dont get them over here, are you allowed to kill them over there .

Sounds a bit of a stupid question but does the rattle still rattle after they dead ? Yes. Even after you cut it off, you can shake it and make it rattle. Rattler's aren't as bad IMO as some of the other snakes...they at least will warn you before they bite ya....most the time anyway

They're aclimating themselves to the wild hogs. One didn't rattle at my neighbors ranch in ValVerde Co and could have easily bit me and another guy then just a few weeks ago same thing happened on same ranch to another guy. They did not rattle even when coiled up.
