I had thought that I had a place secured in Kent Co. for 9/acre and budgeted accordingly. Just talked to my "outfitter" and it's 11.88 an acre now???? So I'm open to any and all suggestions. Left a great place last year for this place and now everything has suddenly changed (price wise). Kills me because I've already invested hundreds of dollars in corn and fuel on this place and it looks like I'm going to get screwed in the end. ANY help would be much appreciated in finding a new place. I'm only looking for one spot, have my own housing (lil camper), Looking for west tx/panhandle place. Once again, I greatly appreciate anyone's help. I've budgeted myself for $2k yearly.

have one opening on year round lease in Robert Lee, Coke Cnty. Five hunters total will hunt 1 sq mile. Tower blinds on site, two buck cnty. Lots of deer, Hogs, quail, dove, predator, some exotics. Wheat fields nearby. Camp area with electric and room for camper. $1200 total.

You brought up a point that it should be nailed into lessors hides...and I've been on both sides of the coin..My old hunting
buddys and I kept a lease, cleaned the senderos, fencelines, camp, pastures and trash for about 15 yrs..fed yr. round and culled the spikes and junk..got to where there were good deer..
all the owner did was raise prices until he ran us off..his son
got caught night hunting and selling the animals in Pearsall, and
he leased it out the next yr..and they shot out the place in a
season..and between 8 of us, over a period of yrs..we probably had in excess of 80K or more in it..DD
