I am hunting this year in Muenster and was really needing advice. Has anyone hunted in this area or has anyone used Tecomate Monster Mix before ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Talk with your local feed supply they will know what grows in the area and will be more than happy to help you and what you need to do to make it grow, good luck

You sure pay a premium for seeds that come in a bag with a well known name on them.
If I was gonna pay a premium for a name brand it would be whitetail institute.

X2 on checking with a local feed store for reccomendations.
Soil samples are always a good idea too.

BOB Oats, or even feed oats will do good there, (with rain) as eery where else. I agree with the others,, local advice is hard to beat. You can also get a free visit from the county Extension agent, if you really want a load of info for your place.

How long ago did you plant?
How well did you prepare the soil?
( mow / drag to bare dirt / disc / broadcast / drill, or, no soil prep )
Did you amend the soil to address the deficiencies based on a soil sample?
Has it had enough rain or too much?
( as in washing seed away or driving rain burying it too deep )

:on edit ; Just saw and responded to your other post on the same topic.

I have never used their Monster Mix but did once plant their LabLab. It was touted as not needing a lot of water. I found out different. The plant, with good rain, grew about 3 ft tall and put out big leaves. Big leaves need water. When it didn't rain for 2 weeks it all died.

I don't trust them and will no longer plant anything they sell.

BTW, my place is just South of Bowie.
