Guys, Good Monday to everybody. Please do yourself a big favor and go to this web site ( www.pythiosis.com) and read up about these terrible dog related dieses. 2 dogs in our club have already been affected by it, one died just recently fighting through it and second one has about 50 stitches on its back from surgery. In the nut shell stagnant warm fresh water (ponds, lakes, and even wet grass) can possibly carry a mold that dogs ingest and get sick from. Treatments are very costly and success rate is not great. As dove and duck hunting seasons approach let’s be careful, if water doesn’t look healthy your dog should not enter to swim, drink etc… Pass this around to other people with dogs!!! Thanks
