I've had a camera out at our new lease for a week. My first time seeing what is there. I've got tons of pictures of the same 4 deer. 3 does and a young spike. This is only in one location near a pipeline just inside the woods. My other camera's battery died so I only got like 20 pics on it. The first 19 were of a hog and the last were two does. I reset that camera today with fresh corn and fresh batteries. It is very deep in the woods, so I'm hoping it will catch those deer not willing to cross the pipeline in the other location.

Try and find some well used trails and put a cam on it. Not all deer come to the feeder or get in range of the camera

There's a lot of deer that use those pipelines as a hwy at night.

The second camera is along an old rub line we found near a creek. This camera is where two deer trails converge. Hopefully this pics there will be a success.

This pipeline has DEEP creeks going across it. I setup the camera along the side of one where they were crossing a shallower tributary just inside the woods. Getting lots of pics, just of the same deer and one hog that is probably 400 lbs. It's strange. He is always alone. Never saw another one.

Boars like that will tend to be alone... Bump the cam out of the creek bottom and to the next ridge up from the creek. This a fairly new pipeline?

2 years ago i had pretty much all does and small young bucks going to the feeder and that was it, later in the season better bucks were coming to the feeder every so ofter. i set up a camera and stand in the woods on a trail and thats where all the big bucks were at. the 2 stands are maybe 600-700yards apart. i wouldnt be to worried. deer arent going to be moving as much with the heat. and if there are does there then there is more then 1 buck

Group of does visiting regularly after only a week doesn't seem bad to me.

Jacob- this is about the time you will start getting bucks showing up in our area. They widen our pipeline as well due to the keystone pipeline coming through. Just got my first decent buck on cam last week and finally saw a very large track of one walking a road after all summer searching. Everytime I put BB2 in front of the cameras I get atleast one buck. Now of course in the rut you may get multiple bucks in 1 night...Keep moving them around and be sure and put attract in front of them. BTW-kill that boar lol

If you are seeing does, then I would not worry. During the rut, the Bucks will go to where the does are.
