What is the weather going to do to the birds this weekend? Push them everywhere or think they will hold tight during the depression as it moves though.
The purpose of a warrior is not to reason with the enemy but to kill him.

It will scatter the birds. It also might push some to move South.

Rain, maybe sunny, might have a hurricane, but without a doubt it will piss someone off no matter what it does

The weather has already done a dirty deed to the north opener. The ranch I am going to hunt had enough birds for us to have a barrel burner of a hunt. Just this slight weather change ran a bunch of them out. They are slowly returning but I would sure like to see them all return. They can leave in a day but they can reutrn in a day as well. KKeeping fingers crossed.

0% chance of rain and 100 here...beer and birds. Looking the same for me too, however... Rain or shine I'll be hunting and if I shoot 1 bird or a limit I'll be happy Well said... And the one constant with this time of year...you're gonna hear stories of piss and vinegar and 2 birds horrible outing and those that are nana nana boo boo we haven't not limited yet going into day 6..... leaving you mad all the way around, cause how in the hell are they limiting out and I'm the next county over and got nada??!! And bigger yet you limited out but have to go back to the real world of work and hearing weektime stories of glory!....do these yahoos not work??!! But no matter, LOVE IT!!!!
It's hard to feel sorry for someone with one leg who shoots themself in the foot.

No doubt about the AR crap, just damn shame hunters don't have self control and knowledge

I hunted the second split in snow and ice last year. The birds would come blazing in from the whited-out sky without warning. Good times, good times. Rain, love it. Last time it rained we grilled steaks behind the barn, and shot them as they came in from the fields to drink and loiter in the windbreak. Good times, good times. Last year, second week of season... Not enough wind to run a mojo, humid for west Texas, 95+ degrees. Sweat in my eyes, slicking my gun grips, making feathers stick to me like flypaper. Sitting in nut soup, casting about for the bottle opener. Good times, good times. First hunt last year. 2 Limits +2 bonus ringers. Good times included.
