That other freak buck is awesome too. When does the season start for y'all? You need to kill one or the other.

That's right where I'm at too and being fair with measurements.

18 wide
44 beams
30 mass
6 1's
18 2's
20 3's
16 4's

You think his G3'S are 10"? I can tell you right now you're wrong with that guess. If I find his sheds or shoot him (which is a lot harder here) then I'll be sure to show you that part right away.

Good deal would like to see it. I was in no way trying to offend ya. I hope ya kill him and I'm 18"s off. I may miss that mass a little bit but he's alsoi still in velvet... I just don't see the 3's being any longer than 10"s. Use his ear for reference. say its 6"s make a mark on base and tip of ear then stand it up on that 3.

Whatever he ends up scoring, best of luck seeing him this season. He is a heck of a nice buck!

Good luck getting him this season, I bet if he doesn't make 170 gross score he will ne close. Ears on those bucks will be closer to 7 inches than 6. Body size will fool most here on size, I am with Bobo on this one. The OP said their deer usually dress 200lbs that is a 240 to 250lb deer on the hoof if he is average. I bet at his age he might be a little above average.

I would take the FREAKY buck. The 10 is only 4.5 (both for that matter)and 145-150 he has 2 more years and could be 170.

Are you serious???

I would love to see your scoring breakdown. Put some numbers to paper, and let us see how you got to 145" on that 10.

LOL! Sorry, he'll be 180s next year if not more. Here they grow 20-30"s every year. I'm pretty sure the one "FREAKY" buck is 3 and the 10 is 4. He'll be 180s next year if he survives. It's looking promising I will take him this year during youth season. I got my two buck tags yesterday for youth season. 3 more weeks and I'll be hunting these guys.

Gentlemen you need to remember this is a mid western deer. His ear length and width across is much different then here in Texas. I've seen a 135" heavy 8 pt in northern Missouri that bottomed out a 250lb scale field dressed that made the rack look like a little basket rack. Whole different set of scale there. That would be an 18" spread here. That buck is prolly closer to 20". Gotta put it in perspective.

Great looking buck. Upper 150's to low 160's. Inches of antler are the same on a deer no matter what he weighs.

Yep. But those inches don't look the same on different deer.

trout Rookie loco a 10" tine is a 10" tine on a 100 lb buck or a 300 lb buck. rolleyes It is the hunter who views it differently.

Still doesn't look the same. 10" is 10", but if the hunter views it differently, then it doesn't look the same trout Going to be hard to have a debate if we are arguing the same thing...rookie trout

So if we blocked the deer out of the pic, which I also don't think is any bigger bodied than a panhandle buck, what would his 3 length be? Still looks 10" to me smile I alo don't believe his ears are longer than 6. If they wre 7+ " then the deer is 22+ wide and my measurements are off. I'm still sitting firm at 152. He may have a few more inches of mass but, I'm betting velvet off is gonna drop some jaws on mass loss
