She's finished! Got to shoot her today as well. Bore sighted at 100 yards shot 3 shots then set my zero stop and dialed straight out to 500. Shot mostly on steel but did shoot 2 groups on paper. One with black hills 175smk(around 1moa) and the one pictured with FGMM 168 smk. Should be around 2.5 inches or so(1/2 moa).

That is nice shooting Jeff! Shame on the BH, need some
175gr handloads! I was actually shooting some 168 fgmm out
of your old stock last weekend lol. It shot pretty good, but I
could not get the scope to track right so all my shots were
running up and right in a string. Ran out of time and headed
to fill the feeders with kmon1. I'll let you know how it shoots
when I get it sighted in. The 20" barrel was doing 2550 fps
or 100 fps under documented, but very nice SD.

Well youve upgraded the stock, now its time to upgrade the scope! LOL yes I too was suprised at the BH 175. Thought for sure they would shine with the 11:25 twist. Maybe they need more distance? Im def liking the viper skins, it makes the switch from AR's to bolt more comfortable.

No, I don't think the 175's need more distance. I don't remember,
do you handload? If not I could probably twist you up a few
175's over a light load of Varget if you want.

I hand loaded for the grendel, but it took too much of my free time and made me go shooting way more often than I should LOL. The previous owner of the barreled action worked up a load w 175 smks over 43.5 varget and had great success with it. I'm probably gonna look into the custom loaded ammo route if its priced around the factory loaded prices.
