Yea I've always loved the looks of the g36 but I already have a sig522 with a red dot so was wanting to go a different direction with this one.

I think I have $500 in mine including the tax stamp. Did you do all the machining yourself? Did you cut down the barrel or buy it that way? Sold the barrel and stock I had on it, then just cut down a stock and did a little plastic fill, bought the barrel from tactical innovations for just over $100

My 10/11 yr olds and I built this one and went in the direction of lightweight and ambidextrous stock. Fun and man it is crazy all of the options out there.

Tactical Solutions makes them in Red and Blue. Less than a lb.
