This brand is in the running to be the Army's new pattern next year, replacing the terrible UCP that wasn't so "universal." I think I am still partial to the Multicam though.

I really like the Highlander, but for a pair of pants----$189.00!! I'll stick to my Multicam.

They are not a Texas hunting style type company.

More of your higher end very active mountain clothing.

Cabelas is using them to compete with Sitka, kuiu, Russell apx, and core 4.

They have a great price point and I hope to see them do well

I saw that stuff at Shot Show this year and asked how much for one complete suit. I's not cheap, but it is very well made.

Not to sound too much like an infomercial, but I know the guys that started this company (one of the founders grew up in Rockport). Their patterns and designs are made first and foremost for special force operators to use in actual combat situations, and secondly for outdoorsmen demanding the best of the best in high performance gear--"Battlefield to Backcountry." They use actual special forces operators as their R&D department(check out the prostaff section of their website). The camouflage patterns have undergone extensive testing and performed off the charts for the US Army's Aberdeen Proving Grounds and are currently finalists for adoption as the new US Army camouflage. This stuff is legit. It is unique looking, and also performs incredibly. It is more open than most currently used hunting patterns and therefore does not tend to stick out at distance.

In addition to the patterns, they also make high performance apparel. I just received some of the 2012 stuff from Cabela's. I am not overstating it when I say it is awesome and probably the best gear I have ever purchased. I have thousands of dollars worth of Browning, Sitka, Remington, Beretta, Scentblocker, etc. gear in my closets, and this looks like the best of the bunch, and not just because it is new or because I know the back story on the company. We will see how it holds up this season, but it looks very well put together and the materials look to be very high quality.

As far as expense, it is priced well below Sitka Gear and to me is a superior product (both in terms of the camo pattern and the garments). You certainly get what you pay for. I expect that this stuff is going to last me for many years to come and not need to be replaced like some of the cheaper options. I am a big believer in not skimping on the gear that I am going to depend on in the field! If you aren't familiar with this line and company, I predict you will be soon...

Awesome stuff. Hopefully it goes down in price over the next couple years.

it appears they're taking a new tacticool marketing approach since it first came out.

looks good but I have a hard time believing their marketing. Checked it out today though and the material seemed comfortable.

Saw it at cabelas today and didn't impress me. Looks like something you'd buy just to say you bought it.
