what kind of land surrounds yours? Are there many hunters around? If not, you may be able to harvest a couple. If there are quite a few hunters around, you may get shafted into none as these are very likely transients and not residents on your land...

I have talked to all the neighbors around me and none of them hunt. I think I got them to my self. I got a pic of 8 different bucks but just a few pics of does. Is that typical this time of year?

Bucks are running in groups still, you should have as many doe around somewhere, if not more. I'd set up a bow blind and start practicing for bow season. Shoot a doe for the freezer and get you a nice buck.

Did the previous owners put the feeder up? If those deer haven't been managed you could grow some big boys out there. Put a protein feeder up with hog panels so the pigs don't eat it and I bet you see a noticeable difference in the racks next year if they haven't been managed previously.

If your neighbors don't hunt, I would immediately ask for permission and access to their properties to hunt. You may be able to put together a real nice deer "lease" for zero money.
I have a parcel of only 30 acres north of Longview and by doing that very same thing I've got a 250 acre hunting "lease" for zero cost that is only 5 minutes from my house in town.
Ask - you might have one heck of an opportunity.

I live in Royse City and there are some big bucks in the area.
But there are also some poachers in the area so keep a eye on your place.
