Joe T's is more of a social experience than one of fine dining. The food there is cooked in huge quantities to maximize efficiency. The food is the same old so so it has always been, and yes, there are better tasting places out there but not with the same mystique and atmosphere, that is the draw to this place. It is a fun place to go with friends to sit outside and talk. I don't make a habit of it because I don't like paying that much for mexican food. I also don't go there unless I am with a group. The best deal there are the nachos, they use an entire tostada shell and load it up plus order them individually and they are $3 each I think. There are a lot of places in Fort Worth that you can get some really good mexican food for $6 or $7.

people go for the drinks. the food sucks balls. more of a trendy place rather than a fine dining experience. hit up los vaqueros or la playa maya. both are just right down the road.
