Guy on our lease did the same thing but never elevated it. Those things are heavy but nice and comfy. Looks good.

How much are those containers? There was a guy in the open hunting forum that was looking for a reasonably priced blind ?

There is a place in Lewisville that sales them. McGill props I believe is the place. He sells them for $150 but got a deal on this one since it had been sitting there a while and was missing a few things. http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/spo/3178958137.html

A friend of mine and I went to see these containers, and they were wobbly. He refused to budge on the price, and was miffed when we didn't buy.
Did you have to reinforce them in order to stopthe wobbling?
I have to wear sunglasses into the woods, because the deer would recognize me, an just surrender with their hooves up.

I bought three last week. added 45 degree bracing in each corner, pitched the roof, used metal roof panels, added windows and a good coat of paint. My new lease members love them. Alot of room inside. Guy will only cut a break on 6 or more, but for the size and money, they cannot be beat. Some are junk though, pick through them.
This is coming from a construction company owner, material cost and time cost more than the 150 base cost.

I think for 150, you can afford to add some support. I may call this guy up.

Did you have to reinforce them in order to stopthe wobbling? These are designed to come apart which is why they are wobbly. If you are just looking for a ground blind they are almost perfect with a little bracing. If you want to elevate it you will need to frame it and brace it like any other wood blind. I am into this one for just over $250

I have one at our place, nice and roomy but falling into disrepair due to weathering. Caulk the heck out of it and use elastomeric paint(paint that is rubberized)and it should last a long time.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.

Phonetics apart -- that is a very creative build. Well done!

I don't see why that wouldn't work
24 hours in a day. 24 beers in a case. Coincidence, I think not.
