Drove by my golf course pond this morning and a group of 22 teal rode the front down....I can imagine what the rest of the lakes look like...

I'll be on the lake tomorrow morning.

Didn't see any teal yet on thursday on the 2 lakes I scouted. But, did see some harbor mallards Just waiting for them daredevils to show up.

I been looking at ponds on the side of the road all day.

No birds so far.

I work a regular stretch of waterway down on the coast and there is a particular pond that I watch year to round to judge how our water levels are and how the migration is coming along. The last time I saw ducks on that water was in April. Two days ago I spotted between 50 and 100 ducks on the water. About half were whistlers and I couldn't ID the other because of the distance, but I'm pretty sure they were teal.

Saw some this morning but nothing to get all excited about two groups one with 6 and one with 4..Prob the same birds roaming around..

..No pics....I keep that private till I can get out there with my Beeman from 50 yards...

I seen 6one today at a north texas lake. Also seen about 200to doves headingbto roost on private property near the lake.

What front?
