x2 Very good pizza but some of the specialty pies have me saying wtf. Spinich, eggplant, artichoke? Not my idea of a pizza...

Cane Rosso in Deep Ellum has a pretty tasty pie. Try the focaccia for an appetizer.

46th St Pizzeria in Bulverde, Tx was pretty good. Their salads are good as well.

Salis in garland is pretty good. I have also done some pies in the egg. The plate setter is a life saver for pizzas and low and slow cooks. I will go get the dough from papa Murphy's and then add my own toppings.

If you are in the Deep Ellum area check on Zini's over on Elm. Good pizza open LATE!
Mama Mia's is pretty good too...

Mongo - The plate setter is a must! Not just for pizza, but brisket, chicken, desserts........
Everywhere local is insane on their pricing. Morrison Supply is by far the cheapest, and they were close enough to online pricing.

Mama's Pizza will always be the standard for me here in Fort Worth.

Best pizza I can remember was a place called Yanni's that closed down when they widened I30 back in the early 80's.

However, best pizza I've ever had was Giordano's in Chicago. It's so good that I have it shipped down a couple of times per year. Seeing that pic from the Big Green Egg made me realize what I'll do at least once during football season. I bet a BGE could get that pizza just right.

Grimaldi's in Allen is the best pizza I have ever had in Texas (there is a location or two in Dallas too I believe).

Campisi's is great too, but a distant 2nd to Grimaldi's

Yep, if it is the same place when I was there in the 70's, it is awesome.
