By far the best I've ever had from coast to coast. You get the P.R.'s SPECIAL, you better be ready to eat some pizza! Plus you gotta have a pitcher of Shiner Beer, too. POPPA ROLLO's ....a Waco Icon for 40 years! Good Lord. I was eating at PR in 1975. Still there? It WAS GOOD then. Edit: I still have a pizza pan that somehow wondered out of there about 1977.. Papa Rollo's and George's! Oh, the stories we could tell. And, The Brazos Landing. And, The Water Works (I'm a teetottaler but they used to cover tables with 5for1 or 6for1 at Happy Hour!!! And, what was the motel that opened up on the river that had a lot of dancin...?

Fuzzy's Pizza in Houston IH10 and Antoine has great pizza! x2 Very good pizza but some of the specialty pies have me saying . Spinich, eggplant, artichoke? Not my idea of a pizza...

Since having to move to downtown Big D in the Deep Ellum area I have found a place that makes really good pizza down there called Serious Pizza. The slices are huge. Cane Rosso in Deep Ellum has a pretty tasty pie. Try the focaccia for an appetizer.

46th St Pizzeria in Bulverde, Tx was pretty good. Their salads are good as well.

Salis in garland is pretty good. I have also done some pies in the egg. The plate setter is a life saver for pizzas and low and slow cooks. I will go get the dough from papa Murphy's and then add my own toppings.

If you are in the Deep Ellum area check on Zini's over on Elm. Good pizza open LATE! Mama Mia's is pretty good too... Mongo - The plate setter is a must! Not just for pizza, but brisket, chicken, desserts........ Everywhere local is insane on their pricing. Morrison Supply is by far the cheapest, and they were close enough to online pricing.

Mama's Pizza will always be the standard for me here in Fort Worth.
Best pizza I can remember was a place called Yanni's that closed down when they widened I30 back in the early 80's.
However, best pizza I've ever had was Giordano's in Chicago. It's so good that I have it shipped down a couple of times per year. Seeing that pic from the Big Green Egg made me realize what I'll do at least once during football season. I bet a BGE could get that pizza just right.

Grimaldi's in Allen is the best pizza I have ever had in Texas (there is a location or two in Dallas too I believe).
Campisi's is great too, but a distant 2nd to Grimaldi's

Little place here in Midland called Luigis. Brick oven style pizza.. Yep, if it is the same place when I was there in the 70's, it is awesome.

Is that the place at Custer and 121? Saw it a while back and I have been meaning to try it. Yes, he has a second store up by cheaper than dirt. The owner Mike usually works the custer store. Its good. Its american pizza not chicago style or italian.
