She was 6. Now is almost ten. I hope I never forget that day..... If it was just me I would have let this deer walk until the next year. It would have been a really good deer the next year. It was a nice framed 8 point with good tines, just needed one more year. Just could not tell her no. Oh well. We needed to cull a few 8's anyway I guess....

Need to grow or not, it doesn't matter. It was her first and biggest buck.

That's awesome I'm sure she remembers it as well as you do. ( Anyone know what this fluid building up around my eyes is? It's a little hard to see through.) Great pic thanks for sharing, making memories is what it's about.

She'll forget some things throughout her life, that's inevitable, but this will never be one of them. I hope to get a similar opportunity with my daughter who is now 3. Very nice deer!
