The ranch I managed had tons of those things. We did a helo air census of WT and those darn things outnumbered the WT. They are in about the same category as raccoons in my book. I would shoot them everytime I saw them, ram, ewe, lambs, didn't matter. They'll eat the WT out of house and home.

Couldn't agree with you more. They are starting to get thick. The only saving grace is the WT deer in this area of Edwards STINKS anyway. Between lack of water, poor forage(with or without sheep), low protein, bad genetics and an occasional anthrax outbreak. The WT don't stand a chance. Been out there over 7 years WT bucks just nothing to brag about is all. But, when you got axis deer standing in front of your cabin who cares. I think the axis are putting pressure on the WT also. Great for me since I would rather eat axis meat over WT anyway. The ranch I managed had tons of those things. We did a helo air census of WT and those darn things outnumbered the WT.
