I hunted bow only for about 10 years, but after getting married, buying a house, and having a kid I just didn't have the time for it. I sold all my gear but I've been missing it pretty bad for the last couple seasons. I finally gave in and bought a basic hunting setup, a PSE Fire Flite 33. It's an '03 model, so 9 years old, which is a first for me. I worked at a Mathews shop for several years, so I always had the latest and greatest bow with all the gadgets and doodads, but in the back of my mind I always thought I could do just as well with a basic setup. Can't wait to hit the field with this dude and whack a few pigs.

Oh I didn't give up hunting, just scaled way back and gun hunted when I got the chance. My wife is going to be staying home with our son now, which means things should slow down and hopefully we'll get to make a few more weekend trips to the cabin to hunt.
