Anybody own one? Good and/or bad experiences? I shouldered one the other day at Academy and liked it, but there is very little info on the internet about them. Would love some input from someone who has owned or owns one. Thanks in advance fellas.

My dad has the black synthetic 3 inch escort magnum. It has never jammed and he has had it for 4 years. It shoots great.

My dad bought one for the coast he didn't want to take his ou down there.
I took it apart and clean the hell out of it. Never had an issue it is basically a Turkish made 1100 clone since the patent is up.
Change the orings out yearly and you should be good

Buddy bought one last year as he wanted an inexpensive shotgun for hunting. He never had a problem with it and he rarely cleaned it. It was a little rough on the manufacture side but that is what you get for a cheap shotgun.

Look up Hatsan, I believe they are the very same gun. The Brits, Aussies and Kiwis have high regards of them.
Does it have the funky Franchi style recoil pad?

the thing about baiting is, even a rookie hunter could have a 170 bird season if they bait holes

I ended up ordering one of the Extreme Magnums for the 3.5" chamber and it came in yesterday. I'll be breaking her down tonight to clean and relube before taking it out on it's maiden voyage Saturday. As far as being a 1100 clone, there are very few differences between the two guns. I'll let everyone know how it performs once I get some rounds through it.

I had the right hand version and it was terrible! I had to send it to the factory 3 times in less then 2 months for various different reasons, the first reason was the action bar sheared off and jammed the gun, secound was that the front sight post fell off witch wasnt a big deal but the gun was less then a month old and the third and final was that the butt stock cracked from the triger gaurd back about 4 inches. they fixxed it everytime i sent it back but i asked for my money back the third time and was told it a good thing i live in the US because i could sell it when they returned it! Made a post about this gun last week. Finally settled with the Franchi Affinity. I know that the price was unbeatable, but I heard the gun was cheap, plasticy, and fragile. I know that Chad Belding endorses the Sh*t out of this gun, but I don't see it getting any good reviews other than what he says.
So... I jumped up the ladder and got the Franchi, which comes with 7 year warranty and made under the Benelli name. Duck Popper: Congrats man and guess you need to change your name to "Duck Poppa"

Do they make this in a youth model?........I have an 11 year old daughter that has expressed some interest in duck hunting with her dad next year and I'm going to need a 20 gauge youth shotgun. The BPS sale paper came this week and they had almost and entire page of youth guns. She was really talking it up while she was looking at it....... so hopefully??????

I actually haven't gotten to take it out yet, been busy building crane silhouettes and not many birds. Tomorrow morning will be the first rattle out of the bag. The Escort has a 5yr warranty and I can assure you, if its going to break, I'll have it broke within the first year. The customer service was top notch as well, i spoke with the territory rep many times and he was the one who placed my order at the factory and set up shipment to the gun dealer. The fit and finish is as good as a B gun on this model and I actually have a buddy who is thinking about ditching his B gun for an escort already. It is almost identical to the 1100 I have shot for the last 18yrs, so making the switch was a no brainer. The main reason I went with the Escort over the Franchi was that I wanted a 3.5" chamber, which Franchi doesnt offer. I know Escort makes youth model guns, but I don't know if they make them in camo or not. I guess as with anything, only time will tell.

I bought mine right before dove season. I've went dove hunting 6-7 times. Done sporting clays of 100 rds or more 4 times. And have been duck hunting 6 times this year. I love it. Has been a great gun. Gun jammed once out of all those this year. I keep it very clean. Great gun so far.

Well, finally got to run some 3.5s through the Escort last week and it performed well. The felt recoil on the 3.5s is almost nonexistent, but thats to be expected with a gas gun. Although I haven't run a high volume of shells through it yet, I'm pleased with it so far.

Well mine finally jammed the other day after about a year without being cleaned. I cleaned it up and it's back to running like a top now. For how I treat my shotgun jamming only once in a year is pretty good. Mine don't get babied at all. It gets thrown in the bottom of the boat in the mud and got dropped in the lake the other day.
