Hey guys, I need a little help. I have a Suzuki 250 quad runner that is fouling out plugs. I can replace it and in less than thirty to forty minutes of driving it is fouled out. Does not use oil and compression checks ok. Any info on what else to check or who do you use to work on your machine.

Don't know your location so would not be able to tell you where to take it. I had a problem with mine and wound up putting the hottest plug that I could get for it and that worked.

I would check to make sure the plug is gapped correctly, and you way want to get a spark tester, just becuase it has some spark doesnt mean it is enough.

drain your gas tank and clean it out....then put gas with stabil in it and you should be good...sounds like water or dirty tank...replace the inline fuel filter to if you have one...old or dirty gas will foul them out just like that

I'd just start with new stuff- new air filter, fresh gas, new plug with correct gap. Check your carbon trap on the muffler. If that doesn't do it, I'd look to the carburetor to make sure the float isn't sticking. And it could be your carb choke. Make sure it isn't on, even if you think it's off. One of those is probably your problem.

The last time I had a similar issue, it was the second new plug that solved the problem. One last possible problem..just maybe your plug isn't getting enough juice from your electrical system.
