I don't have any personal knowledge of it, but I've seen this discussed a bunch on here. You might try going to the top of the screen and do a search for it.

I have them on our protein feeders and it seamed to stop them from climbing up the legs so now the coons just jump up and catch the tube and pull themselves up. They are smart little guys. Dont know what application you need it for but thats my take

Shark teeth Suck! The Racoons used them to walk up the feeder leg.

I did this and it didnt work at all. a good cage around the spinner is only thing that stopped them. It was a small one and they could reach through so I went bigger and it solved the issue

If I put my wife in a high fence will her rack get bigger?

Winch up feeder or PVC pipe on the legs are the 2 best solutions other then drastically thinning the racoon population I know of. Figure that is why you are wanting tackstrips or sharkteeth information.

Yes thats what I am after. Coons are tearing my timers up. I have the winch up feeder and one that is free standing have cages on both. We have not ever had this much of a coon problem. They still get in. I put tackstrips up this past week end. we will see what happens.

I do the tack strips on the PVC, put some cheap paint on the tack strips, they last a little longer.

Just put a Eliminator spinner plate on your timer and forget about the coons. It will pay for itself in no time with the corn you save. You don't realize how much corn goes to those little thieves until you stop their buffet.

2 out of 3 of my feeders have these on them it cut my corn usage in half. I am in shock how much corn was going to feed the coons.
