Look at the deer right in front of the feeder. This guy is so weird looking. We call him the helmet buck.

Its in Young County. Hes never been on game cameras before, there is a real slight possibility its some kinda screwed up doe. I have seen a doe with a spike before on a different lease. 8point I don't think this thing will be able to shed either!

I've seen a doe that added extra every year, never shed and never lots velvet.
I zoomed all the way in and it looks like a buck though.

I have seen something like this on a buck that broke an antler off right at the burr. He could not shed that small piece of antler left. New growth started and he got an antler infection which eventually pushed the small old antler off. He grew a rack similar to this one on the one side. If broke off both antlers and got an infection on both sides then it might look like this. The new antlers would and could grow around the old antler from last year.

I don't know about wall of shame, I like the freak deer, you know what kind of conversations that euro mount would make.

That can happen when they lose their manhoods, like jumping a fence. Their antlers never shed and they grow a big mass like the one shown. A friend has one just like it mounted in his office.

^^^^ What aggie said, my buddy shot one very similar to this last year. Had a horned growth similar to the pic but no manhood. I will try and put the pick up later.
