I have several boxes of 7.62 x 54 ammo. And the tips of the bullets are grey. Does that mean they are FMJ steel core?

you can test with a strong magnent... copper/lead won't hold against a magnent

thanks Cruz. I went to the site and the ammo is the type 59 mild steel core.
