Since the place I hunt has gone bow only anyone want to teach me about bows

Another option might be crossbow. Legal in Texas but not know if allowed on your hunting place.

I am going to the local pro shop. Guy around me offers group lessons cheap.. And private lessons are not too bad either. He even is willing to travel.
I have not picked the bow just yet, but they will let me shoot them all and set it up how it should be.
