I beg to differ. Unless he has been fed protein and has led a very good life I think he is 4.

What's up with all the 1/2 age stuff. Being that all the fawns still have spots wouldn't he be 2, 3, 4 and so on. Unless y'all are thinking he was born in December or January of whatever year he was born, he wouldn't be _ 1/2.

On your knees if you are going to beg :-).

Looks like good browsing there, back straight, belly flat, brisket not protruding, hind quarters average, no crown on the nose.
Do not hunt hill country deer, because they are smaller, do you have to make adjustments? Let me know if I need to call Dr. Kroll.

hill country deer grow up a lot quicker than most deer. The divorce rate is high in the hill country deer population and protein abuse runs rampant in the hill country forcing does to abandon their young early on to seek out a buck with access to good protein.

The reason they have no crown on their nose is due to the fact that when they loose their horns they will try to fit their entire head in the protein tube. Fawn Protein Addiction is a serious problem in the hill country and can cause side effects that can cause alarm.

1. over grown antlers
2. unusual body mass
3. premature pot belly

if these symptoms are noticed on your hill country ranch please call me quickly and we will take care of the symptoms in a timely manner between October 1-Jan 1 unless you MLD.
