Having difficulty in figuring out how to get the image to display when the post is opened up. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?
No high fences. We don't hunt zoos. Hunting free range, fair chase game for over 50 Years.

Im not sure. There is a test area for figuring it out near the bottom of the main page. Ask a mod. They are very good at helping

When you are on photobucket, click and copy the [img] tag. Paste it as a non floating image here.

Use the image link from your photobucket under the pic. You can also preview your post so you don't post links instead of pics. And there is a test section at the bottom of the forum.

I'll give it a try on another photo and se if i can get it to work.
The story? The photo above is of one of my niece's and the hog she shot. It is a couple of years old. Her father farms several thousand acres and raises peanuts on some of that. She, her husband, brother and friends are hog control.

Wel, I have tried everything I know of and cannot get the photos to open when posted. I can get a broken .jpg icon or a link but no love in getting photos upon opening post.
I have tried copying the image tag under the photo and it is not an address pointing back to the photo bucket image directory. I have tried copying the http address at the top of a displayed photo in photo bucket. Does not work that way either. I have tried a right click on the image to capture the address and that does not work either.
Any one have any other ideas?

Yes I have. Several times. I have tried to follow these instructions step by step and it does not work this way on my browser. When in Photobucket I click on upload. I then choose the folder and pic on my PC to upload. I click on it and it gets placed in my Photo Bucket folder. I place my mouse over the image and I never see the choice for url, html or img. The image is saved as a jpg. Perhaps the browser I am using is the problem. I do not run Internet Explorer, I run Google Chrome.

I have IE so when I mouse over the image a menu drops down and then I click on the image code and it shows copied. You can also click on the picture bringing into to full screen and a menu board should appear on the right side of the screen. Left click on image code and it should turn yellow and say copied.

Ok, Went to another browser, Netscape and got it to work. thanks for the replies and the help.
