Anyone shooting .357 magnum out of a .357 maximum barrel? Wondering if I am going to suffer any accuracy loss. I plan on shooting 90% .357 magnum but want the flexibility to shoot the bigger cartridge if I am not going to pay any penalty.

What gun are you talking about using? Ive got an H&r handi rifle in max, mainly shot 38 wadcutters or S&W out of it so far. I'd still go regular magnum though. Not much to really be gained, go with 35 rem if you need that much improvement. Just my 2cents
In God we trust, all others get run through TCIC. Prior Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance. Lack of Planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.

Had a TC Contender in 357Max 14 inch barrel. It shot 38,s 357 Mag and Max very well. Accuracy wise very little difference. In the Ruger there is very little diffeerence either.
I do not think I could shoot the handguns as good as they would shoot but with both average about 2 inch groups at 100 yards was the norm when shooting from the bench, with an accuracy edge going to the Contender, best group from it was 1 inch at 100 yards for 5 shots with 357mag, best group with MAX was 1.5 inch.
The sighting for those were 2X Swift scopes. I was also shooting my bigger pistols alot then
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch
