I'm thinking of putting in a food plot for turkey since I can't seem to keep them on my land. I figured a food plot might help out with that problem. I'm wondering which seed would be the best for that. A few people have told me chickory works great. Any info is appreciated

What area of the state? Ag crops seeds are cheap and easy. Try wheat, maize, milo, sudan, hay grazer.

In the winter a good mixed food plot with wheat, rye, legumes and brassicas is good. Summer they will eat lots of things including peas, beans, but one that is very hard to beat is chufa. Big problem with chufa though is hogs love it also.

Chufa is the best, but like they said it won't work with hogs.
