I'm looking for a Bow for my wife. I'm thinking about 50# and around 26"
I will be having this HydroGraphic Dipped in probably Pink Camo.
Anyone have a good suggestion for a bow for her? or have a bow for her?
It will be her first bow and Dont want to spend no more than about $400.
RIGHT Handed

those mission bows you can get 30-50 pound draw. she should be able to draw 30. my wife is 4'9 and 120 pounds, and she did with a little practice.

40# May be where she is comfortable. I'm gonna look in to the Mission Bows. She mentioned that she wanted a pink bow. She never shot one, just seen us shooting them in the yard. Kinda wanna do it as a supprise for her.

The Mission bows can be ordered in pink and pink camo. You'll just have to wait a bit for them to come in.

Diamond offers the Razor Edge, and it is another fantastic bow with a ton of adjustment. It is also available in pink camo (they don't list it on the site, but it is also available blacked out)

Just a little bit outside your budget, is the Quest Torch. It is also available in pink camo, and is a really neat bow for the money.

I"m kinda liking the Diamond Razor Edge... I found it for like $449 to the door. I kinda broke the suprise and told the wife would she be intersted in a BOW and she was like "Sure, I want PINK" so i'm pretty sure she'll enjoy it.
Thanks for all the input.

This was shipped to my door. I talked to Matt there seemed knowledgeable. I'm going to do some more looking into maybe some more packages. I'll call the local bow rccand see what they have to offer first

Got a Diamond Razor Edge with a peep I could save you a little cash on. My son shot it 3 times.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

My wife has a diamond razor edge and we both have been very pleased with it. She started out around 40# but is in the mid 50's now. I would suggest changing the sights on them. I wasn't much for the plastic housing. I ended up putting a trophy ridge fall away and tru glo sights on my wife's. Mission's are great bows as well. I'd let her shoot both and let the bow choose her.

I got a Parker buck hunter xp set up at about 55 lbs. 100% ready to shoot. Only reason I'm getting rid of it is because I got a new PSE bow madness as a gift.

No doubt get the Mathews Mission Craze. Draw weight adjustments from 15 to 70 pounds and I think draw length from 19 to 30 inches. Shoots wonderful. I also have a diamond razors edge that is nice 30 to 60 pounds. It shoots really good as well. Its the less expensive of the two. But I have both and like the mission better

By the way, my little boy is shooting the mission at 19" draw at about 15 pounds. It dont go very fast but he is learning fundamentals right now.

I looked and the Bare Bow Diamond Razors Edge is $299 as well as the Mathews Mission Craze. The Craze is More adjustable.
I will be taking her by the Bow shop next week to let her fit on. Then when she decides Right hand or left hand We may give it a week or so looking for a used one.
The Hydrographic Dipping is outta the question. They quoted me $205 just for dipping. So we will be looking for a PINK bow.... ANyone out there got one?
Thanks for all the input and opinions on these bows. Sure helped me out Narrowing down our selection.

http://basspro.com/Diamond-Razor-Edge-Pink-Blaze-Compound-Bow-Packages/product/10212273/136051

$329.99 bass pro shop

I started my wife on one, and after she took off with the sport I upgraded her to loaded a mathews passion with pink/black string/cable/monkeytails.

Handed down the razor edge to my 9 year old when he made it to 30 lbs. You will want to upgrade the sights and rest on the razor edge. 19-29" adjustable draw, 30-60 lb draw, 308 fps max.

~80% Let-Off
~Quieter both drawing back and shooting
~More forgiving- Her arrow grouping immediately got tighter
~My 9 year old reached the max of his 19-29lb bow, and someone was get a new bow. He get her Razor & she got the Mathews
~I like the look and choices of Mathews accessories
