Not sure if I posted this here.. sorry if I did but I have been busy as heck lately and forget.

We went out to the ranch about a week and a half ago and I was able to pull some pics off the 8 cams. We ended up with about 14,000 photos.. lots of coons and hogs.

We did not see any Aoudad in this set of pics (only 2 months worth) but it has been so hot they have not come out much.. same with the Mouflon I think.

We are not sure if this is a wet Whitetail or a possible red stag.. lol.. but we did find one deer that looked interesting.

We also saw a LOT of very nice Axis bucks and many more anterless Axis.

We have a good number of 6-10 point bucks with fairly thick velvet antlers on them, so should be a good year.

I plan to only shoot one or two of the spikes I saw (I think we saw 2 whitetail spikes and 2 Axis spikes) this year plus hogs.

LOTS of baby turkeys.

This place loads pics funky.. so will have to load the pictures in a sec..

Ok, let's try these:

no.. the pictures are directly linked like here

http://www.jrbarnard.com/ad/pic1.jpg

fairly simple, I thought.. click add picture and use non-floating.. and add the link.. but it adds the bbcode tags for an img but they do not show up.

It was because I was remoted to my home PC doing it and IT did not show up on that screen because it was not transferring the images to my work PC.

They load, they just did not load on the remote PC.. no big deal.. all there now

So.. who here thinks that deer in the 4th picture looks a little strange?

Someone said that is a red stag, not a whitetail.

Yes could be a Red Deer or could be a cross of Red Deer and Elk.

Thanks.. thought I was crazy.. heh

I also have a ton of pics of hogs.. and lots of babies.

I keep trying to get some hog hunters to come take them out, all they have to pay for is a little extra corn for the feeders and the gas for the generators to keep the A/C going (we are getting electricity in a couple months.. heh).

So far, people go rah rah rah! and then back out.

Seems to me they would want the free hunting.. heh

Russ, aren't you glad you went west? I told you you'd be eaten up with game out there...Great pics. I've got to go down to Leakey in a couple of months,I'd buy some corn and gas. PM me.

Nice axis bucks and a lot of nice young WT. Thanks for the pictures.

If some animals are good at hunting and others are suitable for hunting, then the Gods must clearly smile on hunting.

thanks.. heh

I keep trying to invite folks to come hunt the hogs.. get tons of interest, but never any takers. I even told them all they had to do was pay for the gas for the generators (that run the A/C) and a couple bags of corn per person.. nothin.. heh.

I would have thought folks wanted to hunt hogs more often. I might make an offer in the hog section, just because I would love to exterminate a few hogs.
