I've never seen one except in pictures. Just from the picture, face kinda looks like a dog. I've heard they are pretty tough creatures.

back when we used to eat housecats we marinated them in louisiana hot sauce and soy sauce then season them with lemon pepper........then onto the grill slow cooking them 3 hours........excellent folded in tortillas and pico de gallo----Newgulf

I had a run in with one during deer season in Sterling City....he had me cornered in the feed pen for a few minutes, finally decided to put a .40 in him and he ran at least 300 yds pukin blood before I gave up the search.

Very cool picture.

I shot one of those once while hunting in Bracketteville, they eat turkey eggs.

X2

I have to wear sunglasses into the woods, because the deer would recognize me, an just surrender with their hooves up.

Wow good picture! I saw my first one last hunting season. We have five dachshunds here at the ranch and I'm not looking forward to the day they meet up with one of them... Those that know what I'm talking about, get it...

Neat pic. I've never seen one in the wild but I'm sure if I did I'd screw with it just like every rattlesnake I come across.... don't know what it is but I just couldn't resist poking at it with a stick confused2
