Some of you local guys probably heard of it, its the old Alton bridge AKA "Goatsman Bridge". It has a dark history and several paranormal stories wich instantly got my attention. The bridge was built 1884 and still looks good, I was blown away on how good the welds held up. I also heard the sand bass move through there pretty good.

Where's Alton at?
There is supposed to be an old bridge across the Palatuxy north of Bluff Dale.
Also found one- a suspension bridge off CR 119 south of I20 south of Gordon... haven't seen anything written on it, I'll try to find a pic

Not sure if I can it gets pretty dark out there and the bridge is about 200ft away from the new bridge wich will make it a PITA to pick up even with the moon light.

Its in Denton near Guyer high.

You could always walk along those cottonmouth infested banks after dark by the light of the moon for that once in a lifetime shot.

There's a few bridges with the same name, there's one right down the road from me. Looks nothing like that one but has the same name...we used to always drive up to it at midnight and drink a beer back in high school...good times good times

wow definitely a terrible part of history but those pics are great. I bet night pics there would be neat but I'd be pretty spooked
