have no clue why i bought a spikes lower last week, and just ordered a spikes up. I dont even like ar's

I think we should stick with "assemble" not "build" when talking about AR's. Like adult Legos.

i bought one of the spikes uppers from joebob. it has a few blemishes but it was only 79. Assembled is a better word, need to order the barrel, and forend grip in the near future.

One of my Army buds was down over the weekend and mentioned he would like to build an AR because he didn't have one. We dug through all my cabinets and came up with over half the parts and we got the rest at the gun show on Sunday. We spent an hour putting it together and he took it home. Good times.

the upper was 100 bucks, has a scratch on it so got it for 79. need to get a barrel, and other stuff. might be a while until i get the barrel and forend

yea he is, i saw his guns sunday. Liked the weight. That was one of my biggest complaints about ar's is most of the ones i have heald felt like a brick. Going to build a 223. wait assemble a 224 lol

This,assembly would be more correct,although having the right tools and knowledge will give desired results.Lots of knowledge around if you look and they are fun to shoot!They are addicting to! BRD is serious,you'll have another in a few months, grin
