Even though it's middle of Summer I'm thinking about deer season already so thought I'd post a pic of my youngest daughter Sarah's first deer. Taken at our farm in East TX.She had never been a big hunter but got the bug a couple of years ago and the Good Lord sent this one her way. When it fell I don't know who was more excited!! One of the top 5 days of my life and a memory neither of us will ever forget-truly what hunting is all about.  
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

Thank you guys so much for the kind words. He now occupies an honored place on the wall. She called him Geronimo and was really bummed when they called Bin Laden that during the raid.

Heck of a first deer...congrats to her...my son took his first when he was 14 and like you said I think I was more excited than he was. It was one of the greatest moments of my life.
