Picked up this old girl the other day. She dates to June 1927. Still in darn good shape. Bore is clean and rifling is sharp, chamber edges still crisp. I already made the mistake of taking apart the Marble's tang sight. mad Following an impressive bout of cursing, anatomical profanity, rending of garments and bringing into question the lineage of Webster L. Marble, I got it back together------and it even works.

That's the plan, actually that's one of my main reasons for buying it.

Very nice clean looking rifle. Back when Men were Men and Rifles were Remington, Winchester or Browning.

What a nice weapon. It's the same one and caliber that whacked Clyde Barrow. Simply beautiful. They even made 15 and 20 round fixed and detachable magazines for after market.

Dang nice! Jealous is an understatement.
Don’t forget to let us know how she shoots.
Did I say how nice she is?

It shot great, didn't get to try it for accuracy because the range was packed, but no malfunctions. That steel torso didn't know what hit it.
