Ask the quail and turkey population if the damage is exagerated.

Put me in the "Kill 'em all" group. I used to think they were a kinda fun bonus prey but now I am honestly tired of seeing them, shooting them, and certainly tired of feeding them.

They can also leave an area in a state where it's very difficult to mow without knocking out your teeth or damaging your tractor. It's for this reason alone that I kill every one of them I see.

I live well inside the city limits of a small town in East Texas, I have had major damage done to my YARD! I've killed as many as I see but IMO the damage done by them is understated. I will eat one if its the right time of year but I believe it is my duty to my fellow citizens to kill every one I possibly can. I think there needs to be a bounty on the things. More than that, it should be law that anybody who sees a pig should shoot it, period. I HATE those things!

We have alot of hogs on our place. I would love to keep the numbers lower than they are if I could, but just dont have the time now. We also have a very healthy quail population.

I still say we need a bounty system. That or train Apache pilots on them as live, moving targets.

Its simple. If you are a landowner, then answer the question. I'll bet its overwhelming across the land affected that most owners WANT THEM GONE.

You wanna see damage? Come up ot our places.

I remember a day in Texas when no respectable hunter would ever
intentionally feed a wild animal, much less in a pen in front of
a blind..but our world has changed...DD
