Yes I used them on several deer when I lived in NJ. I never had anything but passthroughs, and one shot cut a rib inhalf.

I've used several mechanicals and fixed blades. I will never shoot Rage again. Montecs are great, but I went back to the Muzzy 3 Blade...They still kill and hold up well.

I have been happy with my slick tricks. Not the greatest blood trails but just walk the way the deer ran and 30 yards they are usually there. here is an exit hole from the slick trick 100 GR

I shot my first doe last year with NAP Hellrazors and it did a heck of a job. Shot was a little far back and she only ran 20 yards max.

I shoot Slick Trick 100 gr Magnums.

I'm very happy with them.

For years, I shot NAP Thunderheads. I put a lot of meat on the table with them, and I still will recommend them to anyone.

You might consider the Blood Runners. They are mechanical like the rages but are fixed without the o rings so you dont have to keep setting them.

I started using the Blood Runners and really like them so only shot 1 hog last year he went about 30 yards. They look to me like they can't fail even if they don't open they are allready in position.

if flinging arrows at a pig I'd just go with thunderheads. you can't beat them for the price. I always have one in my quiver in case I can't resist a big ol nasty hog that comes into my set..

Grim Reaper and Blood Runner fan here. I wouldn't shoot mech if you're under 50# of KE. I'm over 100# of KE, so I'm good there.

Muzzy Phantoms for me 220 gn, .40 thick. I take off the bleeder blades making them a two blade cut on contact 200 gn. broadhead. I've been using them for years, nothing that I've seen could ever make me switch, and that's what matters. Shoot what makes you confident regardless of what I think or anyone else says.

Where do you find those swords? Cabelas only has them up to 125 gr.

Ebay is the only place I can find them... They last forever unless you lose one, they are under 30 bucks for three.

BJank started me with 125 muzzy's and 100 grain insert...flexibility in b/h's and retaining my FOC!
