Making my own 55 gallon drum feeders and having difficultly getting the 55 gal. galvanized funnel to fit evenly into the barrel. Any tips or tricks? Thanks for the help

Once you get it in put some screws in it...will hold it in place

My problem is that I cant get it down to the bottom of the barrel and have it level. Will try the 2x4 and hammer.

If you have the hole in the middle the corn will straighten it out when you fill it. As long as its most of the way down. Like someone else said turn it sideways and push it down and then straighten it out. Screwing it will help keep it set right if you take it down.

I learned on here that a cheap way of making a funnel is to use the foam Great Stuff and then cut it into a funnel.

I use a 3" hole saw and get it level and then screw it in from the sides. The bottom of the fennel fills in the extra space.
