We have 5 spots open for this year. Year round lease with RV hook ups and small bunkhouse. 5000 acres covering Bandera, Kendall and Kerr counties. Lakes for fishing, 15 min to Bandera and 20 to Boerne, 45 to San Antonio. $3000 per gun, guest and family privileges. Each gun gets 2 blind locations. Good roads for easy access. After first year a 5 year option is offered. Call to set up a tour.

This is my second year here. I have worked for the owner in another business for several years. As far as ducks, not really. Never been enough to get excited about. Besides the sheep which we didn't plan on, we don't get into exotics. The Axis that have made it through the fence have been taken care.

Is this the same ranch that's on the website in your signature? If so, how do the day hunt packages work with the long term lease hunters? Are they hunting the same area as the lease holders or do you have someplace else for the hunting packages?
Thanks, Rich

Sorry for the confusion on the website. The website is currently being redone and should be up in a couple of weeks. We DO NOT do Day hunts. A manager some years thought they would section out a piece for this. Never did, and I really don't like the idea of Day Hunting on a place that has been in a long term relationship with a group of guys for over 20 years. So we do not and will not do day hunts. Sorry for the confusion, like I said it should be updated in a couple of weeks.

So the lease being offered has no exotics? In that part of the country that must mean the lease is high-fenced?
I am a little confused. If it has axis, I am definitely interested!

My wife called and left a message and return number. Contacted Lynn and my wife and I will be driving down and taking a look at the Ranch and hunting lease. If we like what we see we will take a spot.

Sorry I had answered the others by PM. There are currently 11 hunters. If you go to the Facebook page Northrup Pipe Creek Ranch my wife has posted some pictures from last year.

The ranch is high fenced, but, our neighbors to the north are covered in Axis. Sometimes one slips through. It is usually taken care of in short order. If only the Elk on Red McCombs place would slip through the fence as well.

It's a very scenic place guys and there are probably more free roaming Axis in Bandera County than anywhere in the country..and some are definitely trophies...My son John got one when he was 12 off Williams Creek Rd in Tarpley that's 35in high by 29in wide inside and in velvet..Don

You mention each member has two blind locations. I'm assuming we are responsible to maintaining those locations but are there opportunities to hunt other areas ( with the other hunters permission)

I wouldn't want to speak for the hunters, but yes it does happen. There are always open areas, it is set up that way. I don't know if you are talking about jumping around during season or from year to year. The ranch is very diverse in terrain, and the two blind locations are usually set up on opposite sides of the ranch. The hunt manager will usually help you pick locations according to your vehicle requirements. Some areas you must have a 4wd(steep hill roads) others you must have an ATV. So at this point we won't be able to hammer it out here. Call me and come see us, will be glad to give the nickle tour. It will take a few hours to cover the place. Then I think your questions can be answered a little better.
