Well we have been waiting on a gator like this for a good while now. We have been getting robbed by little ones snipping the bait of the hook and was about to give up on the spot. Me and my brother went down to get the big line out and set a small one to go ahead and catch one before season ends. The only thing that changed my mind was when we were walkin down the leve we saw a huge slide that wasnt there the day before and even though I knew it was big I had no idea. So we set up the big one with some rank chicken and this big boy had the line streched out and tight when we went to check it yesterday. It took a few pull with tha 4weeler to even get him to service then finaly got a shot and gave him the double tap. He was very old with alot of teeth missing and was 11ft 10in. long. We had to haul him out with a tractor and didnt have scales that could handle him. Id guess somewere between 500-600lbs. I was nice enough to let my brother tag this one but he was pumped about it so it was fine with me. One of those days ill never forget. Oh and just incase anyone was wondering this gator was out of the water and dispatched
well before sunset. Also a wildlife resouce document has been filled out and the hyde tag report is in the mail today. Thanks for looking

Even baby boy got to see his first gator

That coupled with the results of scaring the flush and having them run off and then have to live off of sneakers as a diet.
