My yard is supposed to be off limits whenn it comes to the squirrels. i had to get the one on the right to come to my side of the tree. So picked up a big stick and threw it to his side. I Promptly shot him as he came to my side of the tree.

It's a Winchester 74 .22 shorts only, semi auto As far as eating them? I have always heard from numerous people that they are quite good. But I'm not trying it, unless maybe someone I trust cooked it up. (I'm not someone I trust for a job like that)

If my grandpa knew you were shooting them and not eating 'em, he would roll over in is grave. My grandma would cook them in gravy when i was a boy and they aren't bad. But she is one heck of a cook.

Hope you're not my neighbor.... I am getting the squirrels in my yard good and fat for dinner this winter.... Yum!
Easy recipe.... Skin, gut, soak for couple hours in salt water, salt/pepper, flour, deep fry, drop in crock pot on high for about 4 hours.
DINNER IS READY!

I used to like eating them when I was young. My mom got tired of me shooting them off the back porch and cooked one whole. Sans the head and tail. Looked liked a hairless rat with all four legs sticking straight up in the air on my plate. Haven't touched one since.
