Has anyone seen a way to put a electric motor on a feeder to raise it up and down?

I saw one at the TTHA show that you just put a cordless drill to and worked it. Pretty dang cool. But, uhhh, dunno who makes it. Good news is that they'll prolly be back at the show this year!!

I bought one of the worm gear winches that you can use the cordless drills on and put it on one of my crank up feeders. It lasted part of one season before it gave up the ghost.

I think Hang-em-High offer them as an option. I have never done one because no one had ask for. The winch has to have a lot of reduction for a battery pack to hoist it. While some may think it is foolish there are many hunters out there who need or want something to make it a little easier.

Shoot, I may not have to worry about it, if the price of corn keeps going up.

Yep! Darn good company.

Make sure to stop by Tampico and get you some Gumbo if you get over there!

bbk hunting systems in san antonio had one in there showroom that was supposed to be coming out, it had a winch with a solar panel so you didn't have to worry about hooking up to your truck battery.www.bbkhuntingsystems.com.
