The land owner is my grandma and she doesn't need stress. I talked to my uncles and they will keep a lookout for someone going there...I'm just going to set it up again and hope i can catch them if they do it again...the scary thing is that you have to go through my grandmas entrance and by her house to get down there and it's about a mile drive down to the feeder...the tire tracks only go to the feeder and then go right back out. It seems that whoever did this had it planned and knew it was down there. I'm pretty sure it was the ppl that lease the neighbors. My uncles are going to talk to the neighbor landowner...the leasors are not allowed on our property at all and if it turns out it was them...well let's just hope it wasn't them!!!!

Was someone hunting this land before you since you said you just put it up? like you said someone knew exactly were it was so they see it often...i dont see it being anyone who dosnt hunt around there....how many animal rights activist go around with a gun in there truck to shoot up feeders....it was hunters that are butt hurt by it plain and simple....call the sheriff. without there not being a game animal on the ground i think Trespassing and destruction of private property would be better for them to handle than the GW

All the signs point to the neighbors lessors. I'm pretty sure it was them but who knows.

No one really hunted it last year. I went a few times and just spread corn out. About 3 years ago we had a feeder there. It got knocked down and we thought it was cows. Maybe someone's did that one too!!! I know the cows got in there though but maybe someone helped them. The plot thickens...

Report to Sheriff??? You must be joking. Yesterday I came across truck coming off our property. Gate lock was cut and barn had been forcibly entered. Got Truck description, license number, description of intruders. When I reported it to the Cooke Co Sheriff's office response was "Is anything missing? If nothing is missing all we could do is charge them with trespassing?" Guess I should have waited for them to load the tractors up. Several months ago neighbor reported 10 rolls of new barb wire stolen. Sheriff responded, " I don't have time and not going to get excited about 10 rolls of wire missing"

Put a dummy camera up where they can see it then mount the realy camera up high and use an IR one so they can't see it but aim it at the dummy one. My guess is they can see it from a ranch close by or either from a drilling rig.

Sounds like you need to vote for a new county sheriff or call the ghost busters

It's about 3 miles north of Panna Maria.

I'll be building a new winch up feeder tomorrow to replace that one. Then I don't have to bring a ladder. I'll do my best to straighten up the panels and t posts and set it up thursday. I hope it don't get messed up again!!! I'll put out 4 game cams watching it and on the way to the feeder and at the gate!!! If it gets messed up again they will be caught!!! I'm so freakin pissed!!! It sucks cause there is nothing I can do but not hunt there!!!

The guy that said call the SO and GW was right. The spikes n stuff are bad idea if land owner has cattle or horses...etc. If the neighbors are douche bags and already have stands on the fence they are the likely culprits. Have some suggestions but might not be appropriate for younger readers.

I have done spike strips before and they do work...lol. I actually watched some poachers run over them, then put it in reverse and back over them again. I knew the guys and called the Sheriff dept. When we went to court on the case I got to read the police report and it said "suspects were found at a gas station airing up their tires". I got a laugh out of that one.

I would try the hidden game cam trick. Also, on your dummy/bait game cam, put some identifying somewhere on the inside of the camera like your name scratched in it or something. Maybe in the battery area, where they would never check. That way if they are caught with it, you can prove it is yours.

Thats messed up, I bet it was some drunk teens. Either that or the coons are figuring out new ways to get to that corn.
