Pat with Avian Arts donated a free bird mount to a lucky hunter at the Plano DU Event last month. I went to pick up the donation slip and discuss the poses I wanted for my birds. When I showed up I told him that I needed a way show his work. This is what he puts together!!

Matt,
Pat told me that he shot them in Nevada. Don’t worry buddy you are good at what you do. Where have you been the last month?

I actually wish they were pen birds. They would be for sale on my website. The one and only good thing about Nevada was the Cinnamons would come through for about a 2 week period right before freeze up. My whole season was based on that 2 week time frame. This was one of those bucket list mounts for myself.

Matt,
Where have you been the last month? I've been here the whole time "buddy". I guess you've been asleep at the wheel again. I've been busy working on actual shot/customer birds that a regular working man can afford! LMAO For a minute there I thought you were gonna say they were shot at Tawakoni, like the hooded mergs! Too funny! Seriously, even if it's always the same few guys (the ones that get the "free" mounts I'm told?) commenting on these pieces I still love them. Fantastic Work!

Oh Mattew, you shouldn't get so worked up. Didn't the Doctor tell you that was bad for your health?

Oh Mattew, you shouldn't get so worked up. Didn't the Doctor tell you that was bad for your health? Yea, no need to get so worked up. We all know your the best at what you do, I mean, I can't think of anyone else who can do a better Wood Duck I know I love the one you did for me. Plus, I can't think of any other taxi that has a 2.5 year backlog of ducks so your obviously doing something right!

Both look great, only difference I see are some feet are injected and some are not. Forgive me if I I am wrong on my perception, just what it looks like to me.

I guess Im confused.... are they Cody's birds he shot or Pat's birds he shot in Nevada?
I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

They are Pat's birds. He lent the display to Cody to use at a banquet.
