Here are a few guys that I hope have benefitted from an additional year of seasoning. From these pictures most of these guys appeared to be in the 120ish, 3.5 year old range. What would be reasonable expectations scorewise for them this year assuming decent nutrition?

That 8, second pic, is going to be a sexy beast this year if he gains some mass. I love big 8's, call me crazy...

Agree Goose, he can be a real hoss if he adds more mass and even a few more inches to length. I have some nice 130+, big 8s from South Texas; would like to add one from my North Texas property.

That picture is dated 11/05/10 so he should be 2 yrs older now. If he's still around, shoot him this year, he won't get any better.

Agreed nsmike, I thought that one was more like 4+ years old myself when on pic 2 years ago.

Think the 10 will score more, he's liable to surprise you.

I do, but I also know a good framed 10 has a better chance of putting on the inches without all the stars aligning. Deer here look to be putting on a little mass this yr.

Rifle, where do you think that 10 could come in scorewise this coming season?

He could hit upper 120s, could hit 140s, lots of variables. We had one that looked similar a cpl yrs ago... He was not quite 20" last yr and figured to be a hair under 150.

So Rifle are you pretty happy with what you're seeing in your neck of east TX so far?

So far so good deer-wise; pretty green stuff is starting to die again and majority of creeks are back to being dry. Need more rain ASAP.

And I need a big boar to walk out so I can send the trapper packing.

Went to the lease today. Stalked up and shot a nice sow at about 15 yards with my 12 gauge. It was pretty awesome.

Think we must've gotten some rain in the last week or so during that last round of storms. Had standing water in a few places but we'll keep praying for more

We got rain on Thurs and it's already a dust bowl again; have 5 corn piles from 100-500yds and the moon is bright enough to see & shoot it. Just a waiting game

What takes the fun out of hunting is that under the right circumstances I'd be more than happy to take any one of these respectable deer, though I know there are some out here that would armchair quarterback and say "not old enough", "not big enough" or "not enough headgear".
