It looks like I'll be doing some trading for a sig 1911r-45-tacpac. I'm at work and can't go to many sites for the reviews.
Does anyone have any experience with these guns? I'd like to hear the good, bad, and all out honest reviews.

Sig had a rebate recently and folks were getting them new in the $700-$750 ball park. I sure the laser is not much. The nitron finish will hold up decent. Trigger should be good.

that sounds reasonable unless you are having to give up big cash.

I have the next model up (Tactical Operations 1911) and it's an awesome gun. The only flaw I can find with it is the slide profile. It's very similar to the looks of a P226 so it doesn't work with all 1911 holsters. The edges are squared off instead of rounded. But that's a small price to pay after you get your hands on it and shoot it. Great gun.

Im not a big fan of the tacpac, all the ones ive ever seen would of taken a decent ammount of work to get them to where I think a sig should be.

The legendary 1911 design has been brought into the 21st century with the refinement today’s shooters demand. The SIG SAUER® 1911 proves that close tolerances equal complete reliability and need not be incompatible in an off-the-shelf pistol. SIG SAUER has introduced clean, distinct lines that American shooters have embraced, while retaining the crisp trigger pull, classic ergonomics, and exceptional accuracy they expect.
The 1911 TACPAC comes in two versions; 1911 Railed and 1911 Non-railed.
1911 Railed kit includes: 1911 Nitron rail pistol CPL-1 Compact pistol laser 1911 Holster with integrated mag pouch Two (2) magazines Speed loader Allen wrench
1911 Non-Railed kit includes: 1911 Nitron pistol 1911 Holster with integrated mag pouch Three (3) magazines Speed loader Allen wrench

I picked it up today on my way to work. Ill get out tomorrow and shoot it to see what I think about it. So far I like what I have seen with it. I'll know how well I like it tomorrow after shooting it.

I had a GSR for a while.
My experience was that it appeared to be a high quality piece, but it was very finicky in the ammo department.
